22/01/06 I am so excessively busy and tired. My hopes of doing a comic weekly every week has diedbecause I fell asleep last monday when I wanted to update. I think my comics are going to have to go on an indefinite hiatus. I want to edit my book, it's bugging me that I still haven't finished doing that. 22/01/06 I have officially been employed, I'm a bicycle courier. This is good because it means I'll probably be able to afford university next September. However, it also means I'm quite busy. So busy in fact that I don't have time to... 08/01/06 It feels like it's been so much longer than a week since I posted a comic. I'm on a major job hunt, and I purchased an electric scooter bicycle, and sold my car to my brother. Getting places takes me a lot longer now but costs me a lot less, as in nothing. Long story short, I'm busy, kinda. Job hunting is almost a full-time job, except not even close. Right now I'm gardening for random seniors and making a website or two for an RV company, but like Devon says; "Get a real job you lazy bastard." I'm paraphrasing, but yea. End Post. P.S. I might be a paper boy. 24/04/06 They're building a suburb next to my house. So no more deadend street and private parking lot/basketball court. They also burnt down the Evil Dead-esque abandoned cabin in the middle of the random field that used to be next door. Apparently the crazy old lady that lived there died. Luckily though I managed to move my car before the excavator that was tearing down the trees/black berry bushes had its way with it. Phew. Somehow sprawling suburban neighborhoods creep me out more than creepy abandoned (possibly haunted) houses. 15/04/06 As of today I am 20, lordy that's depressing. In other news I am entirely unemployable! Maybe that is an exageration, but I still have been unable to find a summer job. And now for a completely unrelated comment, if you were wondering why in some comics I have a beard and in others I do not, it is because the comics where I do not have a beard are based on events/conversations that occurred before I grew a beard. There, I hope you feel more informed and less confused. Oh yea, and if you're reading this please post something in my new forum, even if it's just to tell me how horrible my comics are =P Thanks. 08/04/06 I'm trying to figure out how to install and host my own phpBB forum since my normal forum host seems to be having problems. Unfortunately I think I've somehow majorly screwed up my website and now pictures don't work, not all of them though just most. I have no idea why, so until I figure out how to fix things, sorry! I hope the two people that actually go to my site won't be too disapointed. (Later that day) OKay I managed to fix it. You may have noticed that it was completely down for a while, although probably not. Anyway, it's back up now so yay! Unfortunately I'm no closer to having figured out how to host my own forum. Damn my ineptness! 25/03/06 My forum is back up! Hooray! I just finished watching a movie called Dot The I and I thought it was great. It was really different. A romantic thriller or something. It was intense. I think I liked it a lot better than anything in recent memory. Although I did see Maria Full of Grace recently, which is about a Columbian girl who becomes a drug mule and smuggles drugs in her stomach. I thought that was pretty good, but I think I liked Dot The I a little more. Another movie that people should see is the one mentioned in this week's comic: Modern Times (1936). It's a Charlie Chaplin movie and hilarious. Charlie Chaplin and Paullette Goddard are my heros. 21/03/06 My forum looks like it's down, or its host is down. Hopefully this isn't permanent, I was getting rather attached to that forum. Sorry for any inconvenience, I know how much everybody loves posting things in my forum =D all one or two of everybody. Haha, anyway cross your fingers. Oh and I've edited the first 30 or so pages of my book. I'll do the rest some time after the 7th and then it will be available to whoever wants the misfortune of having read my first book. yay! 16/03/06 I added some random drawings that I drew in the process of trying to learn how to draw. More will be added shortly. I also added a link to metaleaf's webcomic on my friends page because I really like it. Another good webcomic is Inverloch both are more like actual comic books or online graphic novels. Whereas my comics are just silly non-sense. 11/03/06 I just finished doing my taxes. It was painful and it took me 4 hours, but I think I should get a hefty refund so I guess it will all work out. Unless, of course, I get audited or something. If I do get audited I'm going drive the auditor insane with my ignorance of tax filling procedures. Also, I suck at drawing, I wish I was better. I'm jealous of people who are good at drawing. Someone lent me a figure drawing book so I'm trying to learn how to draw better. I'll post results soon, so far they're not very promising. I found a couple neat online comic book story things, and I'll pass on the links soon. I just need to eat something first. All this tax form filling out has made me hungry, and dizzy... City of God is an excellent movie anyone who is reading this who has not seen it should see it. 04/03/06 It is getting close to crack down time. And by that I mean that time of the semester where everything decides to be due at the same time. It's this time of year where a student's sanity is truly tested. Luckily I've been stockpiling comic ideas so I should be able to weather out this hazardous patch of busy-ness. In other news I just found out my forum has a cash mod installed on it, which means posting gives a person virtual forum money. So I guess I have to make up prizes of some useless nature, at least until I figure out how to get the casino mod working. 21/02/06 Electric Avenue added, please enjoy a couple comics by Erika Van Winden, you have to click on her in the cast picture to get to it. 21/02/06 I just got approved to be listed on OnlineComics.net and also, I beat Ninja Gaiden. That game was excellent. I want to erase my memory and play through it again, but I probably shouldn't I have an essay to write and a novel to edit. Anyway if you like my comics etc. Click Here 2 Support my website. 18/02/06 It's Reading Break! Hooray! Time for me to get addicted to Ninja Gaiden once again. But for those of you who actually come to my site don't worry, I'll still be putting up a new comic by monday. Probably before monday, because I have a dentist appointment on monday. I'm also going to add a section to the forum called Ultimate Battle Challenge Arena or something. It's purpose will be to answer the age old question "Who do you think would win if...?" Cast your vote, give your reasons and propose battle challenges of your own. And yes, it is for all the marbles. All of them. 12/02/06 Third week in a row that I've posted a new comic every monday, or by every monday. I actually posted this weeks the day before monday. Sunday to be exact. Anyway, I don't have much to say, except wahoo almost spring break! I will take a sleep upon its arrival, and by sleep I mean write an essay for history. 29/01/06 OKay I've put up what will likely be this month's last comic. If you want to know what the Andre The Giant thing means, look up Obey The Giant or Obey Giant on wikipedia. 23/01/06 I made a website for my friend Erin, and by made I mean all I did was write the code. She did everything else. It is on my friends page if you want to check it out. Also, I now have my first official sponsor, the hate index lol. It seems fitting somehow. They're giving me $1 to have a text link to their site on mine for 5 days. I guess it's too soon for me to quit my job. I'll be putting another comic up any day now by the way. I can't promise it will be funny though. 14/01/06 I've been extremely busy, so I haven't been able to update very often. I did figure out how to use flash though, kinda, so I'm posting a flash comic I made, under movies. It's nothing spectacular, and there isn't any sound so don't be frustrated wondering why your speakers aren't working, because they probably are although I can't guarantee it. 02/01/06 "How was your New Years Ryan?" "It was okay. I played Ninja Gaiden for like five hours, had a nap, ate something, and then watched tv. I'm pretty much in rehab for playing excessive amounts of that game over the winter break."
I have two half finished comics that should be up soon though and I also have the Mugged and
A Short Film About Fate movies to put up. I just have to figure out how to convert them from VOB format to something
useful. I also need to compress them or something, right now each movie is 125 megs.
